Sonoma’s Haven Inc. was founded in June 2015 after seeing the shortage of fosters that can take in rescue dogs needing a safe place to stay until they are adopted. We have observed the shortage of fosters and lack of facilities for dogs that are rescued.
Without space, they are not able to take the dogs in. At times there might be an emergency, and a dog needs medical attention and a place to stay until it is adopted.
We are here to help the rescues, and our organizations create a safe place for dogs to begin the process of healing and learning the joys of life. We have established a new facility in Sealy, Texas, in 2018 in which we were able to include a lounge area for the dogs to spend and enjoy some of the things just like they are in a home environment.
This lounge area is equipped with comfortable couches for them to hang out, decompress, and get one-on-one attention from our staff and volunteers.
Love & Passion for Pets
All our staff members love and have a passion for caring for these dogs that stay in our facilities. We are the stepping stone for these dogs as they learn how to trust human beings again and enjoy life with families who adopt them. We have a large fenced area that they get to run and play with each other.
Every dog deserves a loving family. To help network the dogs for finding a foster home or loving family we take pictures and videos to assist in networking the dogs. (we do not want dogs to find foster home forever our goal is to get the dog into a foster home temporarily and then move into a forever home)
We offer dogs a comfortable and happy environment as they await a foster home or a forever home. We give each dog the care and attention it needs. Each dog has a spacious kennel to help reduce the stress associated with boarding.

The tickets prices are inclusive of the crawfish and a nonalcoholic beverage we offer. Nacho bars are also available for those who prefer.
Games & Entertainment
The volleyball net will be up for those who want to participate along with kickball and other yard games.
Featured Dogs
Pollo loves to play and is very energetic but well trained. He is used to a structured environment through his time at training, so a home that is familiar with basic training and dog ownership is a home he would thrive in. His energy level, and love for play, make a yard and no young children a vital part of his forever home, room to run, and no little ones to knock over. Pollo prefers to be an only dog.

Roscoe loves to go on walks in the park. He knows how to keep his room clean and enjoys affection from human companions. He will sit as often as asked to get a treat. He is straightforward going and rides high in the car.

Abe is a happy young dog who loves to run around the yard and play. He loves going on walks and enjoying an excellent head scratch. He will come when called and mostly just wants to be right beside you. His eyes have a sparkle.
